Amflee Combo - tick and flea pipettes for dogs

Amflee Combo combines the powerful action of fipronil (eradicates adult ticks, fleas and lice on your dog) with the preventive action of (S)-Methoprene (inhibits the development of flea eggs and larvae). Amflee Combo will therefore prevent an infestation in your home and protect your dog.

Amflee Combo Spot-on for dogs - Indications for use:

Amflee Combo for dogs is indicated for treatment and prevention of infestations of fleas and ticks, and to treat infestations of biting lice.

Amflee Combo for dogs protects your companion from new flea infestations for up to 8 weeks, from ticks for up to 4 weeks, and eliminates most lice within 48 hours.

Amflee Combo for dogs can be combined with a flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) treatment.

Amflee Combo Spot-on for dogs - Administration and dosage:

• Dogs between 2 and 10 kg: one pipette of Amflee Combo 67 mg/60,3 mg (S - small)
• Dogs between 10 and 20 kg: one pipette of Amflee Combo 134 mg/120.6 mg (M - medium)
• Dogs between 20 and 40 kg: one pipette of Amflee Combo 268 mg/241.2 mg (L - large)
• Dogs over 40 kg: one pipette of Amflee Combo 402 mg/361.8 mg (XL - extra large)

Amflee Combo for dogs - instructions for use:

• Unscrew the cap from Amflee Combo for dogs
• Put the cap back in place and apply pressure to puncture the end of the pipette.
• Empty the full contents of the pipette onto your dog’s skin.
• Apply the contents in two different locations, starting at the base of the neck, between your pet’s shoulder blades, in an area that your dog can’t reach with its tongue.
• Spread the dog’s fur to ensure that the product is fully applied.
• In order to minimise the risk of major infestations, try to retreat your dog with Amflee Spot-on for dogs once per month.

Amflee Combo for dogs - contraindications:

Amflee Combo for dogs is not intended for use on puppies under the age of 2 months or weighing less than 2 kg, for sick or convalescing pets, or those hypersensitive to one of the product’s constituents. Do not use Amflee Combo on rabbits as the product could result in serious side effects or even death. This product is specially formulated for dogs. Do not use on cats as you could risk overdosing your cat. For cats, use Amflee Combo for cats. 

Amflee Combo for dogs - undesired effects:

Excessive salivation could occur should your dog lick Amflee Combo for dogs. In extremely rare cases, temporary cutaneous reactions such as redness, itchiness or inflammation in the area where the product was applied could occur.

Amflee Combo for dogs - precautions:

Precautions when administering the product:

• Do not let your pet go swimming and do not give it a bath for 2 days following the application of Amflee Combo for dogs. Once this period has passed, exposure to water will not affect the duration or effectiveness of the protection provided by this product against new infestations.
• Should the product accidentally come into contact with your dog’s eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
• Do not allow Amflee to come into direct contact with your fingers. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after applying.
• Do not smoke, drink or eat while applying the product.
• Do not pet or handle treated pets for a few hours following application and do not let children play with the dog until the are of application is thoroughly dry. For this reason, it is recommended that your dog be treated early in the evening, and that it not be allowed to sleep with the owners after treatment, particularly not with children.

Precautions for gestating or lactating pets:

Laboratory studies have not shown any teratogenic or embryotoxic effects from Fipronil (Amflee’s active ingredient). Because of the low cutaneous penetration of the product, application of the product on gestating or lactating pets is not counter-indicated.

Storage and usage precautions:

Keep out of reach of children. Store Amflee Spot-on for dogs in its original packaging out of direct light and in a dry place; do not discard packaging until the product has been applied. Have the product at ambient temperature (over 14°C) for approximately one hour prior to applying. Do not use this veterinary treatment after the expiry date listed on the package.
