SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap

The SureFlap cat flap allows cats to enter based on the system's recognition of their microchip implant. The cat door will only open for your cat (or small dog), thereby preventing stray cats from entering your home.

SureFlap cat flap - Features

• Memorises your cat's microchip
• Works with all microchips, typically having 9, 10 or 15 digits
• Easy to programme (a single button allows you to programme your cat's microchip in a few seconds)
• Quick to install in a door, a wall or a window
• Easy to install into openings of previous cat doors
• Uses batteries (in normal conditions, batteries will last up to one year). Batteries are not included - we recommend using high-quality batteries and recommend against using rechargeable batteries
• An indicator light warns you when it is time to change batteries
• You can programme up to 32 different microchips!
• No collar or tag is required, which means there is no risk of your cat losing the tag or getting caught on anything

Microchip cat flap (standard cat flap):

• Compatible with RFID tags (= a SureFlap radio frequency identification tag that can be used with animals that don't have a microchip implant)
• RFID tag is not included with the cat door
• Four AA batteries required
• Cat flap can be manually locked
• Cat door dimensions (the narrowest part of the opening through which your cat enters): 142 mm (width) x 120 mm (height)
• Opening dimensions (size of opening required to install cat door): 165 mm (width) x 171 mm (height)
• Installation adapter recommended - standard adapter

Large microchip pet door (large cats and small dogs):

• Compatible with RFID tags (= a SureFlap radio frequency identification tag that can be used with animals that don't have a microchip implant)
• RFID tag is included with the cat door
• Four C batteries required
• Cat flap can be electronically locked
• Cat door dimensions (the narrowest part of the opening through which your cat enters): 178 mm (width) x 170 mm (height)
• Opening dimensions (size of opening required to install cat door): 207 mm (width) x 234 mm (height)
• Installation adapter recommended - large adapter
• LCD screen
• Programmable - lock and unlock times can be programmed

Adapting the SureFlap microchip cat flap to your home

• To install in a window, a wall or an existing cat door opening, you will need a mounting adaptor:
  • To install the standard microchip cat flap: standard mounting adaptor
  • To install the large microchip pet door (for large cats and small dogs): large mounting adaptor
• To install in a wall, you may need a standard tunnel extension
  • To install the standard microchip cat flap: standard tunnel extender
  • To install the large microchip pet door (for large cats and small dogs): large tunnel extender
