Mounting adaptor for SureFlap cat doors

The Mounting Adaptor is made of two parts: one for the inside and one for the outside, making it possible to install the SureFlap microchip cat door into openings between 210 and 260 mm in diameter (for the standard-sized model), or between 294 and 320 mm in diameter (for the large adapter). The total diameter is 285 mm for the standard model and 380 mm for the large model.

Typical installation for a Sureflap Mounting Adaptor:

- In a glass door or window:

To install a microchip cat door into glass, the glazier will generally have to make a round hole, which means that there will be a big gap around the corners of the cat door. The SureFlap installation adapter will block these openings, keeping your house warm and guaranteeing a more aesthetically-pleasing installation.

- Using an existing cat door opening:

Sometimes the opening from a former cat door is larger than the opening needed for the SureFlap cat door. The installation adapter will help fill the gap left around the cat door.
