Key properties of Fiberact

  • Provides mucilages that retain water and form a non-absorbed gel.
  • Helps normalise the progression of contents through the small and large intestine.
  • Facilitates stool evacuation and supports hairball passage in cats.

 

Composition of Fiberact

100% psyllium husk powder (Plantago ovata).

 

Indications for Fiberact

  • Support of intestinal transit in dogs and cats when stools are too hard or too soft.
  • Adjunct in chronic constipation or chronic diarrhoea, and for cats prone to hairballs.

 

How to use Fiberact

  • Dogs: 1 teaspoon per 10 kg per day.
  • Cats: 1/2 teaspoon per day.

Mix with food. Always provide fresh water. Moisten the food if needed. The amount may be temporarily doubled if necessary, on veterinary advice.
