Pronefra - Kidney supplement

Pronefra’s enriched formula contributes towards supporting the effective functioning of kidneys in dogs and cats suffering from kidney disease. Pronefra’s potency lies in its composition, which is directed at lessening the work of the kidneys thanks to a combination of 5 ingredients:

• Calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate which help in the chelation of dietary phosphorous in the intestines, thus reducing its availability.
• Chitosan, a natural polysaccharide produced from hard outer skeleton of crabs, absorbs uremic toxins in the intestines.
• Astragalus, which contains polysaccharides and contributes towards the maintenance of the kidney’s normal structure.
• Oligopeptides of marine origin, which help maintain a balanced blood pressure.

Pronefra - Composition:

Fatty acid and glycerol esters, Astragalus powder with polysaccharide concentrate (9.5 %), meat and animal (poultry) by products, calcium carbonate (3.6 %), hydrolysed fish protein (1.9%), magnesium carbonate (0.95 %), chitosan (0.95 %).

Pronefra - instructions for use:

Administer orally, with or shortly before or after meals, using the dosing syringe provided:

Cats: 1 ml / 4 kg two times per day

Dogs: 1 ml / 5 kg two times per day

Proceed as follows:

• Shake the bottle before using.
• Unscrew the white cap to open the bottle.
• Screw the blue cap onto the bottle.
• Maintain the bottle in an upright position and open the blue cap.
• Firmly insert the oral dosing syringe.
• Turn the bottle upside down and gently pull up on the plunger to fill the syringe. Fill it to the recommended amount based on the weight of your pet.
• Return the bottle to the upright position and remove the syringe from the blue cap by twisting gently. Re-close the blue cap.
• Carefully empty the contents of the syringe and mix the product with your pet's food.

Note: You can also place the syringe directly into your pet’s mouth and administer the Pronefra by dispensing it this way.

In this case, make sure your pet swallows the entire contents.

• Keep the bottle closed using the blue cap.
• Carefully rinse the syringe after use with clean water.

Pronefra - Precautions:

Shake the bottle well before using. Slight sedimentation is normal. Do not exceed recommended dosage. It is important that your pet always have access to water.

Use Pronefra within 6 months of opening the bottle.

Pronefra must be used with care in older animals or those under veterinary care, and those having specific dietary sensitivities due to their state of health. If your pet begins to regurgitate, it is recommended that you reduce the indicated dosage for a few days. Consult with your veterinarian if your pet continues to regurgitate its food.
